Delivery Process
When ordering a 40ft hazmat storage container, our delivery process is designed for precision and efficiency. We use two truck types:
- Tilt-Bed Truck
Ideal for easy offloading, requires 40 feet of straight, clear space, plus 10 feet in the front and 20 feet in the back for maneuvering. It also needs a 10-foot width and 16 feet of vertical clearance. - Flatbed Truck
Suitable for locations with on-site equipment like a forklift for unloading. This option requires a minimum of 65 feet of space and side access to pick up the container. You can use a 10,000 lb forklift to lift the entire container from the truck.
Before delivery, ensure your site has enough room for the truck to maneuver. Containers can be placed in various locations, but the delivery truck needs adequate space to operate efficiently.
- Delivery Time
Once your container is ready to be dispatched, delivery is usually within 1-3 business days, depending on location. - Access Requirements
Clear delivery path free of obstructions like trees or power lines. - Site Prep
We only need room to make the delivery without getting stuck; containers can go anywhere on your site. - Ground Conditions
Preferably, the ground should be dry. Notify us if the ground is wet or muddy so we can plan accordingly and prevent the truck from getting stuck.

The warranty coverage period for used shipping containers is 5 years from the date of purchase from Deluxeconex. This includes a unit leakproof guarantee.
